Fantastic!! Always delicious - The pies (any) especially. Helpful too with the different cuts of meats.
Bought two extra large hotpots for a Boxing Day birthday, and several members of my family expressed their disappointment with them. We considered them a bit bland and lacking in any real flavour. Not a patch on the steak plate pies we usually get. Considering that they were not cheap, it was rather a let down.
I visited this butcher's several week's ago and it seemed a nice place we ordered some food for Christmas and tried their pies which I did enjoy however I have just left feeling disgusted as we waited outside for them to open we were 3rd in the queue but when I got to the counter the women serving said she was going to serve a woman that was behind me first. Which normally I would think was ok but I was with my mother on this occasion and She is on crutches after having had 2 knee replacements so she was made to wait as well so yes the food was good I haven't tried any of meat for quality yet but this is now of no consequence as the service is shocking and I won't be returning after having recommending to several people to try their products.
Outstanding pork pies, worth the drive. All of the pies are second to none.The shop is spotlessly clean, with relent staff.
