A very pleasant, long-weekend break.The lodge was very clean. Very warm. Like a large caravan!Situated on The Sandstone Trail. Perfect if you have dogs (we took two).
We have been many time's to The Ridgeway and nerver been disappointed. Lovely peaceful setting, immaculate accommodation and well kept grounds in an ideal location for both country and city (Liverpool, Chester and Manchester are all accessible). The site is also pet friendly with excellent walks on your doorstep.
Always a great place we visit every year. The owners are very welcoming and always go out of their way to help. Caravans and lodges spotless and I love the fact WiFi isnt so easy to connect too so a bonus for us. This is a gem of a place for peace and quiet and to escape the hectic world we all live in. Will definitely be going back and staying for longer. We have 2 children and they enjoy it every time both are in their teens. A real chance to talk and be a family connected with old fashion values. Get a board game out or go for walks together this is a great place to do all that and more.
Lovely little park. We were made to feel really welcome. Caravan was beautifully presented, clean and comfortable. We hope to return again next time we holiday in the area.
