Very disappointed. 4 of us were having drinks last night when at 9.45 they put the lights on and basically told us to drink up as they planned to close up at 10pm. We also noticed other customers come in for a drink and where turned away. Having checked the website it stated closing time was 11pm???? Obviously staff fancied an early finish. Will be reluctant to return again and won't be recommending it to friends.
Really friendly pub. The barman was so attentive and even served our drinks to the table !! The food was lovely and loved the idea of extra roasties and Yorkshire puddings even though we were so full we didn't have them xx
We had our grandsons christening party here . I was able to drop cakes, balloons etc off early which was a great help. Food was good as were the staff. An enjoyable afternoon under the sun.
