Been twice, first time lamb, second time duck, both very good. Service good. Restaurant prices for pub venue though.

What a find! This was the best pub lunch I have ever had...and I have had a few! Conveniently placed in Frodsham. A classic pub adapted for today's fashions. Real ales. Very friendly staff. But make sure you eat there too. You will be back for more.
Wonderful old fashioned style pub, local craft beers at reasonable prices. Winner of CAMRA Awards. Minimal TV and music interference. Excellent clientele. Delicious food and good service. Ambience is a word that perfectly illustrates this pub. Highly recommended.
